Midwifery Career Reboot

Campbelltown Hospital is introducing a one of a kind supported rotational program to give Registered Midwives an opportunity to get back into midwifery and re-develop their skills.

This program includes five study days per year and planned supernumerary training to refresh your skills and teach you about advancements in midwifery practice and technologies.

You will have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of modalities including Antenatal, Postnatal and Birthing units as well as having dedicated support from a highly skilled team of Clinical Midwifery Consultants, Clinical Midwifery Specialists, Clinical Midwifery Educators and experienced Registered Midwives. Support is available both during and after hours, meaning you are always well guided in your work and can be sure that you will have the required assistance at hand.

The program will include the option for flexible rostering and offers 12 hour shifts. Additional training and career development opportunities are always available and the management team are happy to discuss your future growth with you.

To be eligible for this program, you must be AHPRA registered and ready to get back into your midwifery career and help mothers and their babies. You are also required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
