Selection Criteria:

  • Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Registered Nurse with Minimum 1 Year Full-Time Experience in Acute Care Setting
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Concurrent Enrolment in a Diploma of Midwifery University Program at UTS or WSU
  • Ability to Undertake Part-Time Employment (FTE 0.84) with 8-Hour and 12-Hour Shifts on a 7-Day Rotating Roster
  • Understanding of Midwife Role within Primary Healthcare Framework
  • Demonstrated Clinical Problem-Solving Ability
  • High-Level Interpersonal, Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work Effectively within a Team
