Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team in the field of railway signalling systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with client teams to assess faults and failures identified with the system, whether on-site or in subsystems. Additionally, they will monitor the system via ATS and MDC for alarms, issues, or trends affecting performance or indicating potential faults.

To ensure timely response and resolution of issues, the successful candidate will coordinate with Level 2 and Level 3 teams. They will also review logs associated with tickets and monitor response times to ensure adherence to KPIs.

Apart from these responsibilities, the candidate will propose innovative features to improve service value for clients.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Computers, Software, or Telecommunication Engineering is required.
  • Good knowledge of railway signalling systems, software, and hardware is essential.
  • Experience with railway operations such as ERTMS/ETCS, CBTC, Interlocking, ATP Systems is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Australian Railway Safety standards is desirable.
  • The ability to interact with signalling subsystems across project teams for technical convergence is crucial.
  • Experience in complex signalling design and multidisciplinary projects, with understanding of signalling principles, standards, components, and fabrication methods is necessary.
  • Previous experience in major brownfield signalling projects is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work transversally with services and engineering teams.
