Supporting Student Growth as a Casual Learning Assistant

We are seeking a casual Learning Assistant to support our teaching community. This is an on-call position with flexible days and hours.
The ideal candidate will work closely with students to provide individualized support for their learning growth. They will assist classroom teachers in implementing the curriculum and school programs, promoting academic excellence and student engagement.
To be successful, you will have a Certificate IV in Education Support or Children Services, together with First Aid, WWCC, and Police Check. You will also demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional skills when interacting with teachers, students, parents, and colleagues.
As part of our team, you will participate in understanding the College's Christian philosophy of education and its practical application through ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Support students in their learning growth and development.
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing the curriculum and school programs.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Certificate IV in Education Support or Children Services.
- First Aid certification.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check.
