Support Students with Disabilities as a Primary Learning Assistant
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Certificate III or IV in Education Support and be passionate about supporting students with disabilities to thrive in an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and support staff to ensure every student receives necessary support
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to foster connections and promote academic success
- Administer assessments, monitor student progress, and develop individualized plans to address learning needs
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and contribute to the development of educational programs
- Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or willingness to study towards one)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week during term time. It offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and caring individual who is dedicated to supporting students.
