Senior Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at MediRecruit, a specialist healthcare recruitment and career advisory service. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for working with individuals with disabilities, providing clinical assessments and therapy in a rehabilitation facility, supported accommodation, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical assessments and therapy to individuals with disabilities
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals
- Supervise junior Occupational Therapists and students
- Drive the development and expansion of the Occupational Therapy service
- Provide evidence-based practice and continue to develop professionally
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- 4+ years experience in NDIS
- Passion for working with people with a disability
- Drive to provide evidence-based practice and continue to develop professionally
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to supervise junior Occupational Therapists and students
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Current driver's license and car
