Job Summary:
The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist role. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality services to clients in the Flinders and Upper North region.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier services and providing clinical and professional leadership to allied health professionals across the region. You will work collaboratively with health professionals and service providers from various sectors to ensure optimal outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality services to clients in the Flinders and Upper North region
- Provide clinical and professional leadership to allied health professionals
- Collaborate with health professionals and service providers to ensure optimal outcomes for the community
- Develop and implement innovative and sophisticated techniques to improve service delivery
- Manage complex and diverse responsibilities, including service development and practice redesign
Requirements:
- Must hold a recognised qualification within Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association
- Bring extensive knowledge as a Rural Generalist or within a specific discipline, providing complex clinical and consultancy services across the region
- Demonstrate professional independence and clinical competence, utilizing advanced reflective-practice skills to implement innovative and sophisticated techniques effectively
- Apply a deep understanding of the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network's strategic directions, health unit operations, and service delivery challenges to manage complex and diverse responsibilities
