About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Coordinator to join our team at the University of Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering world-class medical education and training to medical students, as well as supporting preceptors and host practitioners.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and coordinating rural training pathways in local areas of appointment
  • Maintaining and contributing to the development of local educational programs that meet the requirements of the RCSWA
  • Committing to research and/or evaluation relevant to improving rural health

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical practice, with experience as a preceptor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors or registrars.

They will also be committed to the principles and practice of Indigenous health in rural and regional areas, and have a strong commitment to rural medical education and improving rural medical workforce.
