About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Coordinator to join our team at the University of Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering world-class medical education and training to medical students, as well as supporting preceptors and host practitioners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and coordinating rural training pathways in local areas of appointment
  • Maintaining and contributing to the development of local educational programs that meet the requirements of the RCSWA
  • Committing to research and/or evaluation relevant to improving rural health

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
  • Experience as a preceptor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors or registrars
  • A commitment to the principles and practice of Indigenous health in rural and regional areas
  • A commitment to rural medical education and to improving rural medical workforce
