Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and recommend changes to the group's legal, risk, compliance, and AML/CTF frameworks.
  • Act as the organisation's AML/CTF Compliance Officer.
  • Support business units in all matters pertaining to legal, risk, and compliance.
  • Prepare insightful reporting and analysis for executive management and board committees to facilitate effective oversight and management of material compliance/regulatory risks.
  • Advise business units on key compliance matters and regulatory developments, including any regulatory change that may impact the business.
  • Build out a risk and compliance team of 4.
  • Act as the point of contact for regulators.

Requirements

  • Deep experience within Legal, Compliance, and Financial Crime.
  • 8-15+ years' experience in compliance/legal.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with the business and whilst maintaining essential independence.
  • Business partnering skills with the ability to work closely with the Regulators whilst managing the company's interests and agenda.
  • Analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex regulatory policy and establish solutions for its implementation and fast adoption.
