Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Services professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and commercial acumen.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing hydraulic services designs and documentation, providing clear instructions to the drafting and 3D modelling pool, and ensuring accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technically competent and commercially realistic hydraulic services designs and documentation to comply with relevant standards and authority codes.
  • Provide clear instructions and markups to the drafting and 3D modelling pool.
  • Ensure accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
  • Deliver project outcomes that meet fee scope, financial, and resource management requirements.
  • Conduct discipline checks for design documents and drawings (QA).
  • Contribute to the further development of hydraulic services design capabilities / continued professional development.
  • Support multiple projects throughout all aspects of the design timeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications (Cert IV in Plumbing or BSc).
  2. Registration with the RMS for NSW Class 2 Building Practitioners Design declarations (preferred).
  3. Demonstrated experience working within the building services industry as a Senior Hydraulic Designer.
  4. Proficiency in Revit software, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
  5. In-depth knowledge of the AS3500 suite of standards, National Construction Code, and Plumbing Code of Australia.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
