**Your new company**

Your new company is a growing engineering consultancy that specialises in Building Services and particularly commercial fit-out. With Mechanical, Electrical, Security and Communications departments, this is a great opportunity to work in an open-planned collaborative office, in an easy-to-access inner-city location. Due to natural growth, this consultancy is searching for a Hydraulics Team Lead with some Fire Protection experience, to lead a team of three engineers in designing detailed and interesting work.

**Your new role**

Your new role as a Hydraulics team lead will see you flourish in a collaborative and cohesive office, mentoring other engineers and designers, as well as project management, and seeing a project from conception to commissioning. With a keen eye for excellence in all their work, this is a company dedicated to fostering an open and nurturing environment that focusses on learning and developing their engineers, designers and drafters into the best versions of themselves.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to succeed, you will have experience in Hydraulics, and working knowledge of Fire Protections systems. You will have experience liaising with equipment suppliers and manufacturers, as well as relevant trade waste, plumbing and fire authorities. You will have sound knowledge of BDA, Australian Standards and local authority requirements, as well as relevant experience in design consultancies and exposure to commercial fit-out projects. A QBCC or tertiary qualification by Engineering Australia is also advantageous, but not required.
