Job Title: Lifestyle Assistant

Join Catholic Healthcare, a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care services, as a Lifestyle Assistant. This rewarding role will see you working closely with our Residential Manager and Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and implement activity programmes that promote the wellbeing of our residents.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position offers 15-25 hours of work per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality lifestyle support to our residents. As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of activity programmes and social activities
  • Supporting the Residential Manager and Lifestyle Coordinator in their duties
  • Providing excellent customer service to our residents and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure
  • Previous experience working in an aged care environment
  • A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain on employment
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills
  • Empathy for the elderly and disabled
