Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Greencross Vets in Palm Beach. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our clinic, ensuring a seamless experience for both our clients and veterinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of veterinary professionals and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care and client satisfaction.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that emphasizes teamwork, respect, and open communication.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
    • Ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Client Relations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction, driving business growth through excellent customer service.
  • Financial Management
    • Work closely with the regional management team to achieve financial targets and budgets, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
    • Monitor and manage clinic financial performance, including invoicing and accounts receivable, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Marketing and Community Engagement
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients and grow our business.
    • Engage with the local community to build awareness of our services, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the veterinary industry (1-2 years at least is ideal).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of veterinary practice operations and industry regulations, with a commitment to compliance and excellence.
  • Business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform business decisions.
  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
