Clinical Psychology Educator

As a senior clinical psychologist, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, development and implementation of education for clinical psychologists. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee post-graduate student placements, university relationships and registrar programs, as well as collaborate with other educators to support multidisciplinary and interprofessional education.

About the Role

This permanent, 0.3 EFT position offers a unique blend of supervision, training, education and professional development of students, registrars, early career clinicians and more senior staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to develop and deliver clinical education programs, using their expertise to drive excellence in patient care.

Requirements
  • Current registration as a psychologist with AHPRA and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working within hospital or health systems
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver clinical education programs
  • High level communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
