Job Overview

The Nursery Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring seamless production and maintenance duties are completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for daily operation of the nursery
  • Maintenance of daily production duties
  • Organisation of repairs and maintenance of buildings, vehicles and nursery equipment
  • Stock management, including purchasing, supplier relationships, stock rotation, quality assurance and distribution to branches
  • Support on major installations and removals, with availability to assist customers' sites when required
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate in Horticulture or related field
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Proven leadership capability
  • Effective communication and interaction with cross-functional teams and suppliers
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Computer software proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Demonstrated ability to meet assigned targets and deadlines consistently
