Job Title: Water System Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water System Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  2. Utilize sewer snakes/cleaning machinery to maintain efficient system performance.
  3. Troubleshoot and service commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
  4. Install various pressure vessels following OSHA standards.
  5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to emergencies.
  6. Maintain and repair all facility plumbing systems.
  7. Perform hands-on work and on-site disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of pumps and mechanical equipment.
  8. Collaborate with other departments for pump troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, and repair.
  9. Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications for work and materials.
  10. Read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair.
  11. Conduct safety observations and inspections regularly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of plumbing experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of commercial building codes.
  • Thorough understanding of materials, tools, and methods in plumbing.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and cranes.
  • Experience with maintenance and repair of various pumps.
  • Ability to read technical documents and schematics.
  • Safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of operating conditions of pumps.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
  • Work in adverse conditions as needed.
