Job Title: Lead Civil Engineer

Overview

  • Supervision of civil design and documentation on urban, land, and subdivision projects in the public and private sectors.
  • Resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, and interacting with various disciplines.
  • Delivering projects with the support of a multidisciplinary team.

Brief Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our community development team in Queensland. This role will involve overseeing the design and documentation of urban, land, and subdivision projects in public and private sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design, coordination, and project management of urban, land, and subdivision projects from feasibility through to construction.
  2. Preparing technical reports and specifications.
  3. Providing technical expertise to clients and supporting projects.
  4. Managing projects, including scheduling and preparation of project budgets.
  5. Coordinating between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
  6. Preparing and reviewing proposals, variation estimates, and submission documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.
  • Substantial experience in civil engineering design and delivery of urban development projects.
  • Experience and sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling, and construction.
  • Project management skills.
  • Business development skills, local industry knowledge, and connections in the market.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
