Senior Urban Development Lead

We are seeking a Senior Urban Development Lead to join our team in Brisbane.

Job Description:

The role involves providing leadership, technical advice and overview as required for projects within the relevant specialist field. This includes developing solutions that fall outside standard codes, building on an existing professional profile and reputation, managing project delivery and establishing effective teams to achieve this.

  • To manage the delivery of projects and establish the most effective team to achieve this
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage technical risk mitigation, safety, and value in design processes
  2. Develop and deliver integrated design programs and key performance milestones and reports at all stages
  3. Assist in the technical development of staff, coaching and mentoring on technical issues and assisting with chartered institution membership
  4. Establish and consolidate relationships with clients, both during and after project completion
Accountabilities:
  1. Keeping up to date with technical and legislative requirements
  2. Building effective and enduring relationships with other teams and technical disciplines
  3. Mentoring and developing the skill base of specialised technical teams
Requirements:

You will come to us with 15+ years of experience, Chartered or registered engineer and with relevant local accreditation, extensive senior industry experience with urban development and regeneration design management, well-established industry networks, recognised leader in urban development, demonstrated experience working in a consulting environment with clear responsibility for technical & commercial outcomes, leading a team of technical, drafting and engineering staff both locally and internationally, and proven ability to network and influence peers, excellent communication and relationship building skills both internally and externally.
