Senior Urban Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Development Manager to lead our team in Brisbane. As a Technical or Associate Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing projects and providing technical guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects within your specialist field, providing leadership and technical advice as required
  • Develop innovative solutions that meet client expectations and exceed their needs
  • Lead the delivery of projects and establish effective teams to achieve project goals
  • Deliver technically complete solutions and reports to clients that meet their expectations
  • Manage technical risk mitigation, safety, and value in design processes
  • Develop and deliver integrated design programs and key performance milestones and reports at all stages
  • Assist in the technical development of staff, coaching and mentoring on technical issues
  • Establish and consolidate relationships with clients, both during and after project completion
  • Provide technical input into the bidding process

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Chartered or registered engineering professional (RPEQ) with 15+ years of experience
  • Extensive senior industry experience with urban development and regeneration design management
  • Well-established industry networks and recognized leader in urban development
  • Demonstrated experience working in a consulting environment with clear responsibility for technical outcomes
  • Proven ability to network and influence peers, as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills
