As a strategic sales leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success in our region. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sales team and develop strategies that achieve regional targets.
Job DescriptionThis leadership role is responsible for providing guidance and direction to local sales teams, creating and implementing effective sales strategies that drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will be able to develop and execute plans that create new opportunities through local and national marketing programs, target accounts, and other activities that generate demand.
- Lead a team of Account Managers and execute a disciplined sales process to ensure sufficient opportunities exist to achieve or exceed annual sales goals.
- Develop strategies and plans to create new opportunities and drive business growth.
- Resolve critical product-related issues with senior business unit management.
- Support employee development by investing time and resources in formal and informal training and executing development plans/opportunities for the team.
- Ensure a clear understanding of key business drivers for successful channel models.
- Participate in distributor meetings with market access sales management to set goals and objectives around account planning, account collaboration, commercial programs, and product launches.
- Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
- Provide guidance on sales organizational policies and procedures.
- Design and manage the implementation of Performance Management and Talent Development methods and processes.
- Develop and propose annual business plans for a given area or department, ensuring alignment with strategy.
- Scout and standardize market research methods to identify innovative industry trends, disruptors, and new market spaces for emerging or new market opportunities.
