Job Description

As a seasoned operations and maintenance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the failure-free operation of assigned PV installations. Your role will involve continuously reviewing plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime and anticipate/solve problems in a timely manner.

You will work closely with the control centre to evaluate and organize corrective actions by field technicians. Your strong understanding of operating contracts, protocols, transmission, and scheduling entity handbooks will enable you to maintain accurate documentation and reporting of work records.

A key aspect of your role will be to promote open communication with customers regarding technical-operative content. You will also be responsible for creating comprehensive reports for all assigned PV installations and determining necessary additional work and retrofitting for assigned projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PV and renewable energy power plants, EH&S compliance, management, operations, and maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate high commitment to customer success.
  • Proven experience executing tasks efficiently as defined by a maintenance plan.
  • Experience managing third-party contractors.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English (verbal and written).
