Job Summary

This Laboratory Engineer position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct failure analysis and material evaluation to support product launches and durability concerns, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Evaluate ferrous and non-ferrous metallographic samples using standardized procedures to provide accurate results.
  • Operate various metallographic and physical testing equipment, including Brinell hardness testers and tensile test machines, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze and characterize inorganic materials using X-ray fluorescence and Optical Emission Spectroscopy to inform product design decisions.
  • Support new product development and pre-compliance testing through collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage performance tests and prepare detailed reports to communicate findings effectively.
  • Prepare chemicals and equipment for testing, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct physical properties checking to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in laboratory engineering, with expertise in failure analysis and material evaluation.
  • Strong knowledge of metallographic and physical testing equipment, including operation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard procedures and protocols for sample evaluation and testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
