This is a dynamic laboratory team seeking an experienced Lab Scientist to drive Bioscience initiatives. We aim to develop innovative infection prevention solutions that enhance patient safety worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct microbiological and biochemical testing with precision, analyzing data accurately and preparing detailed reports.
- Work effectively with senior team members, taking on responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Develop, review, and maintain Work Instructions (WIQs) and Standard Test Methods (STMs) for laboratory operations.
- Mentor junior team members in scientific techniques and quality procedures.
- Document experimental details accurately and promptly using Electronic Lab Books (e.g. SciNote).
- Troubleshoot out-of-specification or trending results under senior guidance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO13485, GLP requirements, and our Quality Management System.
- Assist in procuring, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
You will work closely with internal teams including Research and Product Development, Verification and Validation, Clinical Affairs, Quality, Production, and Facilities. External service providers and contract laboratories may also be engaged.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related Biological Science discipline.
- 1-3 years in a relevant laboratory environment.
- Aseptic microbiological techniques.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word essential).
- Team player with eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
