Laboratory Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist to lead our team towards next-day test results, enabling physicians to diagnose and treat infections faster than ever.
- You will execute sample preparation, DNA extraction, and PCR processes using cutting-edge equipment like the Hamilton Vantage, KingFisher Flex, VeritiPro, and QuantStudio 12K and 5.
- You will expertly handle manual and electronic pipetting of small sample volumes and collaborate with laboratory management and your team to maintain productivity, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.

What You Need to Succeed:
- Overnight availability
- 1-year high complexity clinical laboratory experience, unless required by the state in which the laboratory is located
- A broad understanding of sterile technique, contamination control, and unidirectional workflow necessary for a PCR lab
- Prior knowledge of molecular laboratory techniques and processes, including but not limited to micropipette
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification
