Case Coordinator

A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Drug and Alcohol Service. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering high-level case management and administering essential treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred nursing care as a Registered Nurse within the Drug and Alcohol Service.
- Administer methadone, buprenorphine, and Buprenorphine/Naloxone treatments in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, assess, and evaluate nursing care.
- Contribute to care that respects client choice and supports recovery within harm-reduction principles.
Requirements:
- Current Nursing Registration (Division 1) with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Acute Medical / Mental Health Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated awareness of Drug and Alcohol dependence issues and Opioid Treatment Programs.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve conflict by managing own emotional responses in a professional manner.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day or evening shifts across all days of the week.
