We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing programs and projects that support children and families in the community.

Job Description:

The Family Support Coordinator will contribute to the delivery and evaluation of the Cumberland Children and Family Strategy projects and programs.

  • Organizing and participating in children's programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Facilitating the involvement of children in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs and activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in education, community services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Understanding of child protection principles and legislation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Administrative and organizational skills, including attention to detail and record-keeping.
  • Current Class C Driver's licence and Working with Children Check Clearance Number.
