Process Excellence Officer

This role forms part of the Quality Assurance, Systems and Process team within the Regulatory Operations Division (ROD), supporting ROD functions with quality assurance, process documentation, and system improvements to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review and continuously improve operational process documents to ensure compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks.
  • Contribute to Commission-wide policies and resources, providing high-quality input that incorporates operational insights, legislative understanding and stakeholder perspectives.
  • Maintain various registers ensuring accuracy, accessibility and compliance with recordkeeping and governance standards.
  • Develop subject matter expertise and interpret relevant legislation, providing analysis, insights and guidance on their implications for operations.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for process-related information and resources, exercising sound judgement and effective prioritisation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and promote teamwork.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative ways of working, evaluating and implementing improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
About the Role:

The position will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of operational process documents, incorporating quality assurance review findings into these documents. This work aims to support the regulatory operations division to regulate effectively and implement strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of activities.

This role requires a proactive approach to continuously evaluating practices and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing solutions to address any issues.
