The role of Sustainability Assurance Professional is a pivotal position within an Audit & Assurance Quality team.
This senior management position involves developing and maintaining sustainability assurance methodologies in line with Australian Standards on Sustainability Assurance Engagements (ASSA).
The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and respond to complex queries on sustainability assurance engagements, collaborating with audit and assurance teams to ensure effective application of assurance methodology.
Additionally, the individual will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sustainability assurance specialists.
A key aspect of this role will be monitoring changes in the regulatory environment and ensuring timely integration into methodologies and practice.
Another important responsibility will be supporting technical learning through designing and delivering relevant programs.
The Sustainability Assurance Professional will also engage in thought leadership projects and contribute to responses to regulatory consultations.
