Senior Risk and Compliance Uplift Advisor

The Senior Risk and Compliance Uplift Advisor will strengthen assurance practices, develop frameworks to drive consistency, engage stakeholders, build capability within the risk and compliance team, and influence senior leaders.

This role impacts communities and industries across Queensland, prioritizing sustainability, safety, and innovation. You will be part of an organization investing in its people and future, delivering critical services for the state's growth.

  • Develop and implement assurance methodologies and frameworks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify and mitigate key risks and controls.
  • Build the capability of the risk and compliance team.
  • Influence and guide senior leaders to make informed decisions.

Initial contract of six months with a strong likelihood of extension.

About Your Skills and Qualifications

You have:

  • At least 7 years' experience in risk, compliance, or assurance roles.
  • Strong capability in implementing assurance methodologies and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CRMA).
  • Experience uplifting processes and people within complex or regulated environments.
