Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Family Therapy Support Specialist.

The successful applicant will have a passion for working with children and families, and be able to deliver one-on-one therapy in homes and schools.

About the Role:

This is a permanent part-time position requiring availability for weekly sessions on Monday 9am-11am and Friday 9am-11am.

Availability for an additional session on Wednesday 9am-11am in Penrith is desirable but not required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behaviour therapy sessions to children and families in their homes and schools
  • Work closely with experienced Therapy Supervisors to receive guidance and support
  • Participate in hands-on training in behaviour therapy and Lizard Programs

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • No formal qualifications required, but suitable for those studying Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counselling or Allied Health
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • The legal right to work in Australia
