About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at a reputable early learning centre in Brighton East. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing, happy, and stimulating learning environment for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that promote children's interest through play-based learning
  • Work collaboratively with the Room Leader and Educational leader to provide thoughtful and meaningful programs
  • Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Implement and evaluate programs for indoor and outdoor settings
  • Write observations and analyse children's progression and development
  • Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers
Requirements
  • A completed Cert III, Diploma, or working towards a degree (as recognised by ACECQA)
  • Experience in a long daycare environment
  • Dedicated, reliable, and committed to working within a team
  • Understanding of the legislation, standards, and frameworks relating to Early Childhood Education
  • Understanding of child protection legislation and willingness to undergo additional child protection training as required
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work between 7.30 am and 6.00 pm
