Maintenance Operations Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader to mentor and support their front-line team in our maintenance facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage and enable teams in delivering safely by ensuring plans are well designed, resourced, and people are informed of risks.
  • Guide and empower frontline teams to focus on continuous improvement and development approaches to executing work safely.
  • Lead frontline teams to achieve ambitious goals in quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify continuous improvement ideas initiated by teams with recognition and promotion of successful collaboration and high-performing teamwork.
  • Ensure operational teams have the right tools, resources, and knowledge with clear expectations to deliver consistent safe results in dynamic environments.
  • Build a positive and collaborative culture through awareness of expected behavioural and performance standards while identifying and rectifying less than adequate performance or contributing behaviours.
  • Take full responsibility for incident investigations within the area of responsibility and conduct timely, complete, detailed reports to prevent re-occurrence and eliminate/control risk.
About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team and fostering a positive atmosphere in the workplace.
  • Technically competent with solid, informed decisions that guide teams.
  • A Trade or engineering qualification is preferred, along with well-developed interactive and engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in planned work, labour to task allocation, tool/resource allocation, and anticipating dynamic situations.
  • Ability to establish and sustain professional relationships, giving employees clear behavioural guidance and expectations.
  • Proven peer-to-peer relationship management skills and personal commitment to deliver through company values.
