Overview of the Team and Role

The Claims Management Group is a key contributor to Comcare's strategic objective and purpose, delivering an effective and fully funded workers' compensation scheme for the Australian Public Service.

The team works closely with employers and employees to identify strategies that facilitate early and sustainable return to work or recovery at work. This collaborative approach enables the team to target high-risk areas and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing client support functions primarily through handling calls received through the Comcare and Claims Contact Centre
  • Allocating administrative and processing tasks within required timeframes
  • Accurately receiving and recording records

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of claims management principles and procedures is essential.
