About the Role

In this Support Worker position, you will be responsible for delivering a range of services to our valued clients in Tumut and surrounding areas. This is a dual-position role, where you will work in both Home and Community Care and Residential Care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Provide transport assistance for medical appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities.
  • Home Assistance: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Help with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support, and medication administration.
  • Social Support: Spend quality time with clients, engaging in conversations and activities.
  • Medication Assistance: Assist clients with their medication and documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum qualification in Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
  • A provisional or full Australian driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs.
