Caregiver Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a caregiver, you will work closely with our clients to provide personalized support, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A strong ability to establish rapport with individuals with disabilities
- Higher care personal care and manual handling experience
- Flexibility with their schedule and ability to travel to clients' homes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance for community access
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, and toileting
- Assisting with domestic services, meal preparation, and household management
- Accompanying clients on community outings and activities
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- A current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
- A valid First Aid certification and CPR
- A Working with Children's Check
- Related qualifications, such as a Certificate in Disability or Aged Care
- A current Australian driver's license and own reliable vehicle
