As a Return to Independence Specialist, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals back to independence after experiencing a workplace injury. This involves delivering a personalized and empathetic face-to-face service, empowering and influencing parties to participate in the return to work process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate regular face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, treating health practitioners, and allied health professionals to promote early intervention and support.
  • Educate stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and premium impact.
  • Collaborate with vocational providers to achieve return to work and life outcomes for injured workers.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to develop plans supporting the return to work process.

To succeed in this role, you will require experience in allied health fields, rehabilitation counselling, or personal injury claims management. You must possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative team approach.
