Job Description

As a key professional, you will play a pivotal role in leading youth services across Central Australia's remote communities. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering meaningful relationships with local stakeholders and delivering high-impact programs.

Reporting to the Executive Manager Youth and Community Safety, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective strategies for youth services coordination
  • Building capacity and career pathways for local Indigenous staff
  • Collaborating with community organizations and authorities to drive positive change

Working closely with the MacDonnell Regional Council, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of Central Australian youth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience in youth development or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues
  • A degree in youth development, community studies, or a related field
