Job Title: Senior Coordinator Youth Services

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of youth services.
  • Assist in strategic development and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, compliance with contract obligations, and external partnerships.
  • Ensure high-quality reporting, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Recruit, supervise, and mentor Youth Services Coordinators.
  • Build capacity and career pathways for local Indigenous staff.
  • Regularly collaborate with community organisations.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree in Youth, Community Development or related field (or a minimum of four years' leadership experience).
  • Proven ability to manage staff and resources effectively.
  • Experienced in culturally diverse settings, preferably with Indigenous communities.
  • Highly organised, analytical thinker with strong compliance focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of mediation and conflict resolution.
  • Proficient in report writing, financial management, and computer systems.
  • Holds current NT manual driver's licence and can obtain a Working with Children Card.
