About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at Montefiore Home. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living skills and community activities, including personal care, medication management, and transportation to appointments and events.
  • Work collaboratively with clients' clinical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, adhering to Montefiore Home's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or Disability.
  • 6 months experience working in a similar role.
  • Availability to work during the week and on weekends.
  • Covid-19 Vaccine recommended but not Mandatory.
  • NDIS Workers Check.
  • Drivers Licence and Car with Comprehensive Insurance.
  • Available for an immediate start.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Impeccable presentation at all times.
  • Experience in managing clients with challenging behaviors.
  • Skills/experience in working with diversity, including young people who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
  • Excellent working knowledge in Mental Health services.
