Key Responsibilities
  • Assist participants with daily living skills and community activities tailored to their unique needs, including personal care, medication management, and transportation to appointments.
  • Stay informed about changes to participants' care needs and collaborate with their clinical team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Implement intervention techniques and psychosocial supports as outlined in behavior support plans, promoting positive outcomes for individuals.
  • Contribute to data entry to track progress and address challenges in achieving personal goals.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or Disability.
  • 6 months of experience working in a similar role.
  • Availability during the week and on weekends.
  • Covid-19 Vaccine recommended but not Mandatory.
  • NDIS Workers Check.
  • Drivers Licence and Car with Comprehensive Insurance.
  • Available for an immediate start.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Impeccable presentation at all times.
  • Experience in managing clients with challenging behaviors.
  • Skills/experience in working with diversity, including young people who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
  • Excellent working knowledge in Mental Health services.
