Ward Clerk Role

We are seeking a professional Ward Clerk to join our medical/surgical ward. The role involves greeting and directing patients, visitors, and hospital staff in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate patient records, including admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
  • Update electronic medical records and paper files as required.
  • Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures in coordination with clinical staff.
  • Liaise with other hospital departments such as radiology, pharmacy, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure all clerical supplies are stocked and ordered as needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a healthcare or administrative role and be proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
