Medical Reception Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly medical receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for welcoming and assisting them in a warm and professional manner.

  • Welcome and assist patients efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality.
  • Liaise between the doctor, patients, and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth communication.
  • Manage incoming phone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinating patient appointments, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and upholding strict confidentiality.
  • Liaising between the doctor, patients, and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth communication.
  • Managing incoming phone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.
  • A previous experience in medical reception, healthcare administration, or patient services is preferred but not essential.
