Job Overview:

The South Australian Tourism Commission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Executive Director, Events South Australia.

About the Role:

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, ensuring timely advice and guidance on day-to-day management matters.
  • Assist with minor projects, research, and tasks, including drafting letters, preparing briefing notes, and coordinating invitations.
  • Manage diary and inbox, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, authorizations, approvals, and reporting for the Executive Director.
  • Develop and implement effective office procedures, maintaining filing systems, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
