We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at HOBAN in Adelaide CBD or Port Adelaide. The successful candidate will work on various administrative tasks, including payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and data entry.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) with an estimated salary of $33 - $39 per hour, depending on experience. The contract duration is 5 weeks to 6 months, with a start date as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Provide frontline customer service support, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently using CHRIS21.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Create and update SA Gov Supplier accounts accurately, liaise with suppliers regarding tax invoice compliance, and conduct data entry with high accuracy levels.
  • Data Entry: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies while handling sensitive information. Utilise Microsoft Office Suite to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in frontline customer service, contact center operations, and payroll administration is essential.
  • Proficiency in CHRIS21 or a similar payroll/accounting system is highly desirable.
  • Strong data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) are required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) is necessary for the Accounts Payable and Receivable roles.
