Job Description

The role of Defence Systems Assurance Specialist is a critical position in the industry, requiring expertise in testing and evaluation strategies, systems assurance, and certification.

This specialist will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and maintaining Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and T&E related artifacts, engaging with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing test and evaluation, certification, and systems assurance services, specifically in the One Defence Capability System (ODCS).
  • Conducting preview test and evaluation, developmental test and evaluation, acceptance test and evaluation, operational test and evaluation, and in-service test & evaluation.
  • Managing and reporting on T&E plans, providing technical and professional advice.
  • Risk management, verification, and validation, as well as undertaking system T&E or trial tasks and drafting T&E reports.
Requirements:
  • Relevant and recent T&E experience within the Defence industry.
  • Good understanding of Defence T&E Systems Engineering concepts.
  • Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
  • Previous and current experience and thorough understanding of T&E policies.
  • Current/active T&E accreditation (preferred).
