Senior Quality and Compliance Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role in our Quality and Compliance Department.

You will drive quality initiatives, ensure compliance, and contribute to shaping the delivery of safe, patient-centred care. You will work collaboratively across departments to design, implement, and monitor systems that enhance quality and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits, investigating complaints or emerging trends, and guiding responsive actions.

You will also review quality activities to ensure accurate reporting, support the rollout of new systems and organisation-wide initiatives, and contribute to committees and working groups.

About You

We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You should enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders and thrive on using your clinical and quality expertise to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Registration (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration clinical experience
  • Previous quality/auditing experience and a formal qualification (e.g., Diploma in Quality Auditing)
  • Previous experience in aged care
  • Ability to collect, analyse, and report on data
  • Proficiency in computer systems and databases (intermediate to advanced)
  • Willingness to travel across sites as required
