Primary Contact Emergency Department Physiotherapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Westmead Hospital. As a Primary Contact Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Physiotherapy services to patients who present to the Emergency Department.
The successful candidate will have significant clinical experience in Physiotherapy, particularly in the emergency department and as a primary contact practitioner treating challenging patients with chronic and complex conditions.
You will have extensive postgraduate clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and demonstrated core competency skills in Cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, gerontology, and Neurological Physiotherapy.
Demonstrated experience in developing clinical physiotherapy policies and procedures is essential. You will also have excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
A strong ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, apply advanced reasoning skills, and independent professional judgment when dealing with situations of a novel, complex, or critical nature is required.
