Ground Support Equipment Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment Specialist to maintain and repair our fleet of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain GSE with corrective and preventative measures, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders across engineering, airports, and freight to ensure service level agreements are met with highest safety and compliance standards.
- Perform maintenance tasks on motorized and non-motorized vehicles and equipment, adhering to IFS Maintenance system for record-keeping.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, requiring strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure safe work practices and environments, focusing on customer satisfaction and exceptional communication skills.
Requirements:
- Trade certificate in Automotive, Boilermaking, or equivalent, with 3 years post-trade experience.
- Fabrication and welding experience highly regarded; diagnostic and repair skills desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; sound computer literacy required.
- Ability to work shift work, including mornings and afternoons; previous GSE maintenance experience advantageous.
