Job Overview

This role involves maintaining Ground Support Equipment (GSE) with corrective and preventative measures. The ideal candidate will have a trade certificate in Automotive, boilermaker, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years post-trade experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain GSE to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform maintenance on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment
  • Utilise the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities

The successful candidate will possess strong diagnostic and repair skills, including an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems. They will also be able to adapt under pressure in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining safe work practices.

Requirements
  • Trade certificate in Automotive, boilermaker, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
  • Fabrication and welding experience highly regarded
  • Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
  • Sound computer literacy
  • Ability to work shift work – mornings and afternoons
